Card reading:
Last newsletter we did a card reading for the site. At the time you were reading the newsletter, you also were energetically joined into the reading and probably experienced a resonance from the message. It is fascinating how we can be joined into a common experience and all obtain our own interpretation from the message.
This month the card reading is from “Healing with The Angels” by Doreen Virtue. Card Drawn – Self-Acceptance.
Meaning – You are a perfect child of God, and every part of you is wonderful. Your Angels guide you to let go of negative self-judgments and to follow being you.
The Power and the Magic of one little word . . . . Away.
This is a little story of the Power of Belief and the Magic of Healing.
It starts many years ago when my nieces and nephews were very young and had full belief in the magical healing powers of their Uncle. They also truly believed that when I pronounced the magic word “Away” in conjunction with our little ritual, then whatever was bothering them would magically disappear.
Whenever they had a skinned knee, headache, cut, blister or whatever, they would come to me for instant relief. And they got it. All that was necessary was for me to place my hand over the affected area, leave it in place for a little while, all the time looking very intently at the top of my hand, and then with great gusto pull my hand away whilst loudly pronouncing the magic mantra “Away”. Miraculously their affliction would be gone!
It never failed, although for some of the really serious hurts it took a couple of goes. It even worked for things like “being in the dumps”.
Fast forward ‘far too many years’ to another generation and a youngster falls over at a family gathering and the word goes out “get Uncle Ron, He’ll fix it for you.” Sure enough a new generation of great nieces and nephews now have access to magic and healing.
But, what of their parents; what’s happened to them? They are all too willing to refer this healing ritual to their children because they know it (used) to work. But when one of them copped a cricket ball in the head at this same gathering, the magical healing ritual was offered – but now as a grown adult, scepticism had infiltrated their thinking. The offer was declined because they didn’t want to look silly, but more the truth, they had allowed themselves to outgrow the Power of Belief and the Magic of Healing.
Why do we do this to ourselves? Or more importantly, have you allowed this in your own life?
