What’s in this newsletter: – This month I share a part of a conversation about peace and healing and the message of the Waitaha Nation, which leads into a Water Healing Ceremony you may wish to be involved in. Hello and welcome to another month with WhollyMetaphysical. The other day Sue and I had an opportunity to attend and participate with a meditation group run by a dear friend and to spend a wonderful day in their company. Here we met Makere from the Waitaha Nation of Peace in New Zealand’s South Island who was their honoured guest and there to share the message of Peace from Waitaha – a message held in trust for over 1,000 years and revealed in the books “Song of Waitaha” and Whispers of Waitaha”.  Her story was fascinating and revealing and conveyed with warmth, candour and humour.

My purpose in sharing this is for a couple of reasons: Firstly, as you would know we recently launched TheWorldMediation.com which has the aim of uniting eight million people from all around the world in a cause for peace and at this gathering we met Makere bearing a message of peace and healing – a message held for over a thousand years to be passed on at this time. Hello and welcome to another month with WhollyMetaphysical. We really love it when we get the chance to meet up and talk with some of you personally, and we thoroughly enjoy the conversations that ensue.  We shouldn’t be amazed at the synchronicity of these meetings considering the field we work in. The other day I was talking a fellow member and we got to talking about the newsletter. He was saying that he liked the general content, but he doubted how the card reading related to him personally.

Hello, the power of intention, now that’s a powerful metaphysical principle, and when we use it right it can really make our life flow. In fact it is going to have to play a big role in the writing of this newsletter.  As I sit down in front of my computer to get it under way, instead of the usual inspiration, my mind is blank. Surely I am not alone in this predicament and I feel somewhat certain that we all have been here or somewhere similar at some stage.

Hello, Well here we are in a whole new year and a whole new decade, or are we? Some say this is the start of the new decade because in this case it starts with 1 (10) and for the following 9 years they will each start with one, ending with 19. The decade of the ‘naughties’ is over they declare!

Yet others proclaim that this year is the end of the current decade and that it does not end until the completion of its 10 years, commencing in 2000, it will complete at the end of 2010.

Hello, The Christmas holiday season will be upon us before we know it. So do your best to stay cool, hang loose and remember what it’s all about. It’s all too easy to get all caught up in preparations and deciding who to buy for gifts for and then what to buy etc, – then there’s catering and working out entertainment and what parties to go to and all that stuff. It can get hectic and stressful.

Christmas can also be wonderful time – for some a time of renewal, for others a time of religious celebration, some have this as their re-creation time and yet others an opportunity for Christ consciousness. This time of year can provide a window to forgive and to make right some wrongs.

The best of Christmas comes from living and sharing from your higher self, so when it all seems to be getting also much – just step back, take a few deep breaths and make the effort to re-centre yourself. Put a smile on your face, engage your spirit and remembering who you are, jump back in and have an amazing time.

Hello, last month I was talking about time, with its apparent speeding up and of course for many of us, our evident lack of it. Life really does seem to be getting busier. It is definitely getting more interesting! There is so much going on, but have we taken the time to notice what is important and what really adds value to our lives.

In our rush for ‘the good life’ have we taken a moment to consider our Mother Earth, our place upon her and our continuing time together?

Hello, my, my time seems to fly these days. What is it with time? Is it really getting faster? Or is it just that we have so much more in our lives these days, and we’re so much busier that we don’t have the slow times in between activities? Or, as in my case, does it have something to do with growing older?

With this ostensible increase in time speed, we seem to have less of it to accomplish our objectives, and this also adds to our confusion about what to do. Sound familiar?

In our case, we don’t live a hustle and bustle lifestyle, yet life does seem quicker somehow. Take this newsletter for example, it really does seem like it was just a short time ago that I was engaged with the last one.

Hello  and welcome to another edition of your newsletter. A few months ago I received a phone call from my niece inviting us to her 18^th birthday party. As in many parts of the world 18 has become the new transition age when we pass from childhood into adulthood.

This is one of those occasions when it is important for parts of the extended family to come together to celebrate and witness the ceremony of transition. So naturally we were delighted and willing to accept, also using this as a time to catch up and reconnect with other family members.

As often happens not long after this we were told of an important seminar (set for the same date) that we really wanted to attend. We were tempted to cancel our invitation to “party” in preference for business, especially as we would require taking time out and traveling some distance to attend.

And here is the reason for my telling you of this. How many times these days are we tempted to take the easiest and most expedient course, disregarding crucial character traits of honoring previous commitments and the value of family and relationships. Weighing it all up we decided to stick to our original course.

Hello , you know it seems like just yesterday that we sent out our first newsletter, to what was really just a handful or two of members. This is now the sixth and the membership is growing strongly. Naturally as we are based in Australia, our first members were from there. Now we are extremely pleased to be attracting members throughout the world.

In the last bit of time you have probably noticed changes taking place in how the website looks as we move closer to our official launch. The forum has had a few changes in appearance and will play an important role in our community. In the meantime it is good to see activity building.

The other day a new acquaintance came to visit and not long after his arrival enquired about the colourful tall poles that were placed in our grounds. At the same time he also noticed and inquired about the circular garden that seemed to join them. I explained that these designated the area of our healing circle, that it was based upon Shamanic tradition and that we regularly activated it for this purpose.

He reacted with a very strange look on his face, took a couple of steps back and then exclaimed that we must be involved in some sort of pagan witchcraft activities and that we were involved in things of the devil and that we had better stop! He then decided he had no further reason to continue his visit and left. Wow! ‘Oops’, I thought ‘what a pity he had such a closed mind that he could not pursue his enquiry and maybe learn a little of the ritual and magic that can be available to us all.’
