WhollyMetaphysical Newsletter – January 2011

What’s in this newsletter: – This month we take a look at luck and the Australian flood crisis.  We also have the inspirational quote for the month and the Card Reading from the Oracle of the Dreamtime.

Hello and welcome to another WhollyMetaphysical Communiqué. Wow, have we had an exciting and stirring start to the New Year in Australia. The western side of the country was in flames, while the east was being deluged in water. The floods were the worst in a hundred years or more and many people were affected. So much of the land was covered in water that it is almost beyond comprehension. Lives were lost, houses inundated, businesses and farms ruined. So many have had their lives redirected.

I think all of us in Australia would know several people who have been affected in some way because of this devastation. Yet, in amongst all of this havoc the majority of us were unscathed.

For us the floods came close, the creek at the end of the road had risen to about 17 meters and had engulfed the house at the end, but fortunately we live on theQueensland Floods top of the rise and all of our damage was done by the sheer volume of water falling from the sky and the momentum it gathered as it rushed away.

We were absent when all of this was happening; we had driven interstate to Sydney to spend some time with our grandchildren and family and to indulge in several days of carefree rest and play. We had just begun our return journey as the first of the heavy rain began. (more…)

WhollyMetaphysical Newsletter – November 2010

What’s in this newsletter: – This month we take a look at reviewing the year and setting a start for the New Year.  We also have the inspirational quote for the month, Card Reading – from Ask your Angels, Message from Archangel Michael – The physical vessel is a wondrous creation. Archangel

Hello and welcome to another WhollyMetaphysical Communiqué. Can you believe it, in a handful of weeks it will be the end of another year, and not just the end of another year – but of a whole decade. This is an ideal opportunity to review and see how close you are to where you wanted to be. This exercise can be very worthwhile as most of us don’t take near enough time to examine what we have been up to.

Whatever is revealed, be gentle with yourself. This is not to be one of those beat yourself up sessions (never any good for any individual, or family or association), nor should it be a self aggrandisement session. What we are really looking for is how far we have come and how close we are to where we wanted to be.

We found we have missed the mark with a couple of things we had planned, had exceeded in one area and also realised or discovered we weren’t quite were we had planned to be. For you I hope you are right on target. Should you find you are a long way from where intended to be, don’t make this wrong (this is a bad place or vibration to be in), instead take it for what it is—a landmark for where you are at now, and use this knowledge to re-set or launch yourself to where you want to be. WhollyMetaphysical Newsletter – July 2010

What’s in this newsletter: – This month we take a look at the difference between operating from our personality and revealing our true character. We also have the inspirational quote for the month, A discussion about the Card Reading, card reading – from the from the ‘Sacred Path Cards’ – Standing People; Roots/Giving.

Hello and welcome to another month with WhollyMetaphysical, and what a month this last one has been − Sue and I have been challenged, disappointed and feeling let down on many fronts, and in some ways this has caused us to look deeply into some of our own affairs and question what we really want and why we want it.

More importantly, some of the actions of others prompted us to take a closer look at some of our own actions and beliefs – to do some character evaluation and to make sure we were walking our talk, so to speak. During this process, words of wisdom from our parents and grandparents, would often be heard within our heads and felt strongly within our emotions, or more accurately within the feelings associated with the events.

Designs, rituals and stories to model off and provide inspiration

One friend’s story: Having determined that a part of his life wasn’t working right, especially in relationships, he determined to undertake the process.

He sat down in a quiet part of his yard and prayed for guidance and gave thanks in advance for whatever the outcome. He continued to sit in meditation and a vision came to him of a circle he was to prepare.

He was drawn to a local park were he gathered pine cones, and from his backyard, four house bricks were collected. Then he went to his shed and pulled out a tarp and an old abalone shell that had belonged to his grandfather. (more…)

Tips for Balancing the Throat Chakra

Before reading this article, it may benefit you to read the article; ‘What are Chakras?’ and the previous articles.throat-chakra

The Throat chakra is located at the base of the neck and is related to communication, creativity, self expression, neck, shoulders, hearing and the thyroid. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound, representing language.

Its Sanskrit name is Vishuddha meaning purification and relates to the element ether.

Here are some ways to balance the Throat Chakra:-

Crystals may be used. Crystals for the Throat Chakra are all the blue ones: Blue Lace Agate, Blue Calcite and Lapis Lazuli are just a few suggestions.

Burning Lavender, Chamomile and Orange scented essential oils and incense are also a pleasant way to help.

Wearing or carrying something blue will also be a help.

Use an affirmation: I communicate easily. Say this silently or out loud to yourself daily, or as you feel the need.

The musical note for the Throat Chakra is G, so music played in this key is ideal for this purpose.

Fruits are the best foods for the Throat Chakra.

Do you speak clearly and pronounce your words well, express your needs without losing your temper, listen to others without interruption, compliment others freely, listen to your intuition, react strongly to what you hear, speak with optimism?
If you don’t then you probably need to work on your Throat Chakra.

Here are a few suggestions to bring things back into balance:
Wear a blue scarf
Speak good things for the whole day
Greet others in a kind and positive way
Write thank you letters
Breathe while listening
Sing in the shower
Go somewhere remote and scream loudly, chant or sing
Ask your higher self for guidance
Observe silence for ten minutes a day
Take of your tie and open your collar
Respond to negativity with silence

Practice saying what you want to say in advance

Meditation for the Throat Chakra:

A Guided Meditation for balancing the throat chakra. You may either get someone to read this to you, or you may read it out and record it in your own voice. It is best read slowly, allowing for pauses where appropriate.

Close your eyes,    breathing deeply    and slowly,    see yourself very relaxed.
Let all of your tensions go.
Count from five down to one as you become even more relaxed.
See yourself inside a blue mist.
Feel the blue all round you;    it is a soft comforting blue.
Breathe the blue into your lungs,    feel the blue go in through your nose   down through your throat    and into your lungs.
Feel it making you confident    and relaxed.
Now see yourself saying all the things you need to say.
See yourself standing in front of people you need to talk to.
You have no fear;    say what you need to say.
You now feel better.
Next time you want to say something,    remember the blue mist,    and remember the feeling of saying what you have to.
When you are ready open your eyes.

You may use this chakra balancing meditation whenever you feel the need for it, or as often as you like.
